FoF: Woche 2

(Very Rough) Character (Size Relations) Sheet:
FoF-Scribbles-01-01-Web
From left to right (maybe) in order of appearance: Ara, Fire Elemental, Cat Guard, Sparrow Gard, Shadow Queen, Jahnja (w. Ghost Badger ^___^), Fox of Friendship, Nin, Ara’s parents.

Erweiterte Scribbles:

FoFScribbles-01-Gone-Neu
One night Ara awoke to find her companion the Fox of Friendship gone. And the window was open. Had he been kidnapped? Ara decided to investigate.

FoFScribbles-02-FireDemon
She put on her cloak and gently tapped against her lamp to wake up the fire elemental inside and fed it some coals.

FoFScribbles-03-House
Gingerly she climbed out of the window, she could hear her parents snoring faintly on the other side of the house. The city lay silent and sleeping. She would ask the {Bridge Dragon} if he had seen the fox.

FoFScribbles-04-BuffaloGod
On her way she passed the statue of the sleeping Buffallo God, dreaming of the monsoon.

FoFScribbles-06-DragonBridge
„{Bridge Dragon} did the Fox of Friendship come this way?“ „Yes, I let him cross a while ago, he went down into the city.“

FoFScribbles-05-Catclock
„Oh, Catclock good evening to you. What time is it?“ „You should be in bed.“

FoFScribbles-15-CatGuardSparrowGuard
„Sparrowguard! Catguard! Have you seen the Fox of Friendship?“ „Yes, he was heading to the Labyrinth of Books.“*

FoFScribbles-16-LabyrinthOfBooks
The Shadow Queen, who is the guardian, archivist and librarian of the countless books in the labyrinth took Ara the same route she had seen the fox take.

FoFScribbles-17-WhaleCity
The Shadow Queen said that the fox seemed to be going to the Three Sisters Gate, so Ara headed that way, while the City Whales passed overhead.

FoFScribbles-07-ThreeSisters
She came to the Three Sisters Gate in the city wall. Jahnja was keeping watch. [She sits down with her and Jahnja asks her a riddle which she answers correctly so she can pass].

FoFScribbles-08-Hare
The tracks finally let into the forrest of the White Hare who was sound asleep. And she could see a light between the trees, maybe a fire?

FoFScribbles-09-Embrace
So it had been a kidnapping after all! Her friend was being strangled by a witch! Ara charged into the clearing ready to save her friend …

FoFScribbles-10-Attack
„Wait“, cried the fox „This is Nin, who needs our help.“

FoFScribbles-11-Rooster
„Nin has lost her home because the fire rooster decided to sit on her roof** making the house burn down. She tried to rescue her most favourite stones. That’s where she got her scars. She’s a geologist you see.“

FoFScribbles-12-Decide
„She’s travelled the world since then, lonely and without a home. And since I am the Fox of Friendship I felt her sadness when she was passing by and came looking for her.“ „Well we can all sleep in my bed tonight and see what we can do tomorrow“ Ara decreed and all agreed.
[Because Nin is afraid of fire, she uses glowing cristalls as a lightsource She’s also afraid of the lamp / fire demon a bit.

FoFScribbles-13-Morning
When her parents looked in on Ara in the morning they saw the most curious sight. „Time for pancakes“ they decided.

FoFScribbles-14-Pancakes
And that’s what they had for breakfast.

* Why yes, Walter Moers, I did indeed diversify your fantasy world that had a very distinct lack of women and PoC.
