Schreibe ich schon an diesem Block herum? Krass. Der erste Artikel damals war eine schlechte Besprechung von einem schlechten Anime. Da mag’ ich den zweiten, der noch dieses klassische Tagebuch-Feeling hat sehr viel lieber.

Das hat schon damals nicht funktioniert und wird auch jetzt nicht funktionieren, everytime history repeats itself the price goes up and all that.

We’ve been at our favourite Dürüm-place in Taksim.
I have one of these brush pens, I really like it but for some reason I rarely use it. I drawed what I thought that you would typically draw with these kind of pens on one of the papers they serve the food on at that place.
Of course one of the millions of cats here in Istanbul wanted to have something from our food. She looked so poor that she got a piece or two. ^__^
E. drew my portrait. I have the pen in the right hand because I am already finished with the drawing, she explained (I draw with my left hand, usually). And I seem to be quite happy about what I drew. ^__^
We visited friends of E. in Kadiköy, they have a very nice flat. This is the view from their balcony (and some people from the ferry…).

Ich mache grad so aus der Ferne ein Seminar von Juliane Wenzl mit, das sich 1 Song 1 Seite nennt und wo es darum geht auf einer Doppelseite ein Lied zu illustrieren. Ich hab mich nach langem Hin und Her für Calexico entschieden, wenn auch für zwei Songs: »Service & Reapair« sowie ein bischen »Sunken Waltz«.
Hier zwei Zwischenstände und ein Detail:
Sooooo, diese Woche war dann Grafist und ich bin auch fast regelmäßig hingegangen aber auf der Zielgeraden hat mich dann die Motivation verlassen, als es darum ging, die Ergebnisse in einer Ausstellung zu präsentieren und ich die ganzen Luschen-Profs von der Mimar Sinan da rumhängen sehen hab. Ansonsten war’s fein mal wieder ein bischen (deutsche) Designluft zu schnuppern.
Lange rede kurzer Sinn, hier kommt das Ergebniss, Thema is’ Global Warming (hach), Spezialgebiet Wasser, d.h. zu viel Meerwasser (weil die Pole schmelzen) und/oder zu wenig Trinkwasser (weil… ?):
Wie immer bei der Mimar Sinan: Die besseren Arbeiten (Fisch und Hai) sind frei entstanden, das wurstige Leuchtturm-Ding ist das, was dem (italienischen) Professor gefallen hat. Bitte schön.
Heut am ersten Mai ist hier Krieg in Istanbul, Evsen meinte, ich solle entweder zur Demo gehen oder zuhause bleiben, was anderes sei nicht möglich. Auch wenn ich dieses bescheuerte Gefühl habe irgendwie was zu verpassen, hab ich mich für letzteres entschieden. Agression mit gehirnamputierten Uniformträgern muss irgendwie nicht sein.
Wenn Evsen nicht arbeiten müsste, wären wir wahrscheinlich hingegangen. Sie wollte eigentlich einen Sticker machen um ihn am Set zu verteilen, gegen Kinderarbeit. Was ihrer Meinung nach die Kinder bei Bez Bebek wohl machen müssen. Das ist natürlich wieder nichts geworden, weil wir zuwenig Zeit hatten aber das sehr skizzenhafte Ergebnis gibt’s jetzt trotzdem — statt Demoteilnahme &mdash hier:
Ach ja, der Text ist (wohl): »Kinder sollten spielen, nicht arbeiten.«
