Return the Wolf

Vector illustration with outlines (new terrain for me!) showing a bird's eye view of a rural landscape with lots of forest that forms the head of a wolf (the ears are mountains, the eyes and nose are lakes etc). It's night with a moon, no cars but public transport (train and bus). Around it is written: „Return the wolf, let nature heal.“

This illustration is inspired by a #documentation on the benefits of returning #wolves to #Scotland, they could hold the deer (and sheep!?) population in check so natural forests could regrow! Just imagine the #highlands a huge forest!

3D-Lofi-Girl WIP

WIP of a cellshaded 3d-scene homage of the famous lo-fo girl illustration: a person is studying in a cosy room at night.

Hello Fedifriends! 😺

I’m testing non-realistic, more painterly shading in #Blender (= #cellshading, thanks Kevendram for the tutorials), decided to do homage on #lofigirl.

I’m not really happy with it, especially the lighting / shadow are a mess.

What do you think? Should I continue or try a more normal approach to shading / lighting?

Inkscape-Tutorial: Make duplicated clones / instances real

Inkscape has a bug where it only exports a white page when duplicates / clones are present on the page. To get around this do:

– Edit > Clone > Unlink Clone (Shift-Alt-D)

Also, while I’m on it:

Scale many objects around their individual centres:

– Ungroup Objects
– Transform Menu (Ctrl-Shift-M) > Scale
– Tick „Apply to each object seperately“

Avocados gegen Hass 💫

Always wondered why it’s called „Hass Avocado“ (Hass meaning „hate“ in German, so „Medium Hate Avocado“ 🤔)* and since the whole western world seems to be turning fascist I decided Hass Avocados are actually not ok with all this bs.

* I since learned that the surname of American who cultivated that variety of avocado was Hass:

Return the Wolf WIP
